You Can Make a Difference in the Fight Against Hunger

By February 2, 2015July 16th, 2018No Comments

No matter how much time you have to give, you can still make a big difference in our fight against hunger. Do you have:

3 minutes?

Speak Up.

Lend your voice to help fight hunger and sign up for our Advocacy Alerts. We make it easy for you to stay up to date on the latest in hunger policy. Plus, when you sign up for Advocacy Alerts, you’ll be the first to know about opportunities to speak out against hunger in Western Washington.

3 hours?

Volunteer.

Come in and help sort and pack food in our warehouse. Much of the food we rescue is donated in industrial pallets, so your help is essential in helping us turn 2,000 pound sacks of potatoes into family size bags. Join our team of almost 10,000 volunteers and sign up today.

3 days?

Host a food drive.

Hosting a canned food drive is a great way for school groups or families to help those in need while learning about the issue of hunger in Washington.

Or, skip the heavy living and host a “virtual food drive.” It’s a great way to engage your co-workers and circle of friends without hauling around cans. Rally your friends and get more food to those in need for less.
