Online Ordering Update

By November 6, 2014July 16th, 2018No Comments

As you may have noticed, the online ordering system has received a few updates! Although the basic functionality of the system is still the same, we thought a quick overview of the new updates would be helpful.

  1. The primary update is that if you try to log out of the system, or close your browser window, before submitting your cart, a warning will pop up. This warning will advise you that your cart has not been submitted, and will ask you if you want to submit before leaving the page. You can then decide what you want to do.
  2. At the top of your screen, to the right of the Log Out button, there is now a small shopping cart icon. A red number will appear next to it indicating how many items you have in your shopping cart. This allows for quick reference without needing to go to the Check Out page. If you click on the icon, you will be taken to Check Out.
  3. In Order Management, your current order will show up even if it is not yet submitted. If unsubmitted, it will indicate that the order is a ‘Draft’. This is another failsafe which can allow you to realize that an order has not yet been submitted.
  4. On the main welcoming page when you first log into the ordering system, you can now find our Front Burner Blog with news and articles from the hunger relief front. From there, you can also access the rest of the Food Lifeline website, including the Member Agency Section.

We hope that these updates will be useful for you! If you have any questions or issues with the updated system, please contact Agency Relations by phone at (206) 545-6600, or by email at agencyrelations@FoodLifeline.org.
