Help End Student Hunger This Summer With QFC, Fred Meyer, and KIRO 7 TV

By August 17, 2020September 20th, 2021No Comments

Back to school is totally different this year, with most local kids learning from home instead of heading to class.

There are 250,000 Western Washington children who normally receive free meals at school, but during the pandemic, they’re always home and often hungry.

You can help by joining Fred Meyer, QFC and KIRO 7 Cares for a virtual food drive to help end student hunger.

From August 16th, through September 12th, 2020, customers at Western Washington Fred Meyer or QFC stores will have the opportunity to donate funds at the register, and you can also donate at the link below.

Funds raised through the food drive will benefit Food Lifeline, helping them provide food to nearly 300 local food banks and shelters.

Together, we can support local kids no matter where their classrooms are this year.
