BizX Joins Food Lifeline in Ending Hunger

We have said it before and we will say it again, Food Lifeline is only as strong as the community that supports us.  This is why we are so grateful and extremely proud to announce our new partnership with BizX!  If they are new to you, BizX is a community of thousands of business owners who can buy and sell amongst each other without spending cash. Instead, they use their very own community currency, BizX dollars. Essentially a system of barter, these businesses benefit by earning new customers that they wouldn’t have had and get to buy things they need without spending their hard-earned cash. Now a member of the BizX community, Food Lifeline can now accept donations via the BizX marketplace. These BizX dollar donations will be crucial support, helping reduce our operating expenses and allowing us to direct our fundraising dollars toward our essential community programs.

BizX clearly recognizes the value that their network brings to our work. They have committed to not only helping us raise BizX dollars but also working on our behalf to increase awareness of our organization, programs, and cause. Designed around a surplus of goods and services, BizX’s work closely mirrors Food Lifeline’s mission to source surplus food and distribute it to those who need it. They understand the power of community.

Nate Pedigo, Director of Corporate Relations at Food Lifeline notes, “From our very first conversation, BizX has proven a powerful ally to our cause, and their willingness to deepen this partnership in years to come reflects their commitment to our work and the people we serve.” The potential for support from the BizX community is nearly boundless and we are honored to have been invited to join.
