Federal SAM Rule Change Proposed Open for Public Comment: The proposed rule language is vague and complex, making it difficult for organizations to determine whether they are in compliance. As written, it would add confusion and introduce unpredictable interpretation in a system that should default to crystal clarity. Bottom line: The proposed changes to SAM.gov registration would add new certifications on issues like nondiscrimination and immigration compliance, potentially affecting organizations that receive federal grants or other federal funding.
