Corporate Donor of the Month: F5

By September 7, 2023No Comments

Making connections is an integral part of F5’s mission. This is evident in their commitment to bringing a better digital world to life, and in their commitment to building, supporting, and empowering communities. The multi-cloud application services and security company has been a strong supporter of Food Lifeline, from Food Frenzy participation to donations to volunteer support. We are proud to recognize F5 as our September Corporate Donor of the Month.

Through their Global Good Program, which provides paid time off for volunteering, Jen, an F5 employee, was able to redesign materials for our quintessential summer fundraising event, Food Frenzy. “The F5 Global Good program enabled me to dedicate two consecutive weeks of paid time to volunteer my skills,” said Jen.  She added that she was “thrilled to be matched with Food Lifeline to help enhance the Food Frenzy coordinator materials and set participating organizations up for success in their fundraising efforts.”

Having an incredibly talented developer and designer like Jen lead such an ambitious project for us over the course of two weeks provides a huge opportunity for growth for Food Lifeline.  As Jen said, “If we can make it easier for more organizations to participate in Food Frenzy and maximize their contribution, we can help ensure more people have access to the food they need. It’s a win for everyone!”

So, a special thank you to Jen, and a massive thank you to F5 for lending their time, talent, energy, and funds to Food Lifeline. Companies like F5 are the heart of Food Lifeline and make the transformational work we do every day possible.
