What an incredible evening we had together on Saturday at The Lodge at St. Edward Park! We are so thankful everyone chose to spend the evening with us as we celebrated the return of Savor.
Together, we raised over $940,000 and counting! The investments you made will not only help us grow our network to close the food assistance gap but will increase the sourcing and growing of traditional and culturally relevant foods that will honor and recognize the rich history and diversity of the communities we serve. Your donations mean that Food Lifeline can continue to invest directly in programs that are driven by community leaders and inspired by the people experiencing hunger.
We would like to recognize our amazing partners who made this even possible. The entire staff at The Lodge at St. Edward Park , Columbia Hospitality, and our own board member Roy Breiman, Vice Pres of Food & Beverage at Columbia Hospitality. Our chef partners Kristi Brown from Communion, Hillel Echo-Hawk from Birch Basket, Maximillian Petty from Eden Hill, Kevin Benner from Cedar & Elm, and Holly Smith from Café Juanita. Our reception participants and vendors Riley Starks from Salish Center, Charles Finkel from The Pike Brewing, Oyster Bill from Taylor Shellfish, Doug Setniker from Rocky Pound Winery, Craig Wright from Wright Brother’s Farm, Deszeray Dougherty from Woodinville Whiskey Company. Finally we would like to thank our emcee for the evening, Mark Wright, and our auctioneer, Scott Carnz.
On behalf of Food Lifeline’s Board of Directors and staff, thank you for believing in our mission and investing in our efforts that advance our mission of feeding people today while we end hunger for tomorrow.
