At The Table

Thank You for Helping Your Neighbors

By March 5, 2020 No Comments

Many of us think of the new year as the chance at a fresh start. But for too many people struggling to make ends meet, the new year just means the start of another year filled with tough decisions.

It may mean a senior living on a fixed income having to choose between buying medication or food — both of which are essential to maintaining their health. Or a hardworking parent choosing between paying rent, so their family has a roof over their head, or buying food to put on the dinner table.

These are decisions no one should have to make, but they’re ones that many people across Western Washington face every day.

Please take a moment to read through this issue of At the Table and learn about some of the people you’re helping through your support. Then, I hope you’ll be inspired to give a generous gift today to help ease the burden, so our neighbors don’t have to face yet another year of difficult decisions.

Every $1 helps provide 5 meals, so please give as generously as you can. Thank you for your continued support and generosity!
