Food Lifeline is thrilled to celebrate our long-time partners at Microsoft as our Corporate Donor of the Month for November!

For more than 30 years, Microsoft and its employees have been supporting our mission to end hunger in Western Washington with thousands of hours of volunteering, robust employee giving, technology support, and more than two million dollars in corporate gifts and grants. The support we receive from Microsoft and its employees remain as critical to our mission today as it was 30 years ago.

Every year, Microsoft dedicates the month of October to help charities across the Puget Sound region with their annual Giving Campaign. Events are held throughout the month and each event is aligned to a specific nonprofit organization that will benefit from all revenues raised from those events plus a match of donations from Microsoft. Food Lifeline is proud to be a beneficiary of this campaign yet again this year.

But that’s not all.

This year, Microsoft is keeping the drive going by installing a point of sale matching donation program at its 230 self-serve kiosks on the Microsoft campus. Now employees visiting the company’s Market Stores and cafés have a simple and quick way to help Food Lifeline end hunger.

The newest donation opportunity for Microsoft employees.

Microsoft is a champion when it comes to supporting the mission to end hunger. On behalf of our Board, staff, and most importantly the people we serve, we want to extend our deep gratitude and thanks to Microsoft for sharing our commitment to a world where everyone is safe, healthy, and cared for.
