Announcing 2021 Food Frenzy Results

By August 9, 2021No Comments

Hello Food Frenzy Coordinators,

Our goal this year was to Root Out Hunger and with your support, we’re making great strides in our efforts.  The pandemic only served to reinforce what we knew to be true, people of color, Indigenous populations, migrants, and refugees experience hunger at twice the rate of the general population.  By competing in Food Frenzy, you’re investing in the communities most affected by hunger and food insecurity.

Year two into the pandemic and our coordinators continue to demonstrate their resilience and ability to pivot in an ever-changing environment.  As a result, we increased fundraising by 25% and doubled our food drive and volunteer hours over last year….all with the same number of Food Frenzy competitors.  Incredible!

Thank you for sticking with us, rallying your coworkers and finding creative ways to fundraise and compete in Food Frenzy 2021!  So, without further adieu, our 2021 Food Frenzy Results!

FOOD FRENZY 2021 TOTALS:

  • $756,727 dollars raised
  • 52 participating organizations
  • 1,314 volunteer hours contributed
  • 4,271 food items collected
