Team up Against Hunger is a state-wide campaign hosted by Food Lifeline and 2nd Harvest. Join us during Hunger Action Month (Sept. 1-30) to help end hunger in Washington State.
Together, Food Lifeline and Second Harvest provide nearly 40% of the food distributed by food banks, shelters, and meal programs in Washington. Every year these organizations help feed the thousands of children, families, and seniors across the state who struggle to keep food on the table. Last year alone, Food Lifeline and 2nd Harvest provided the combined equivalent of more than 60 million meals to our hungry neighbors.
Second Harvest is lighting up Spokane for Hunger Action Month! The iconic Steam Plant Smoke Stacks will turn orange from Sept. 11 -16th to remind the community to team up against hunger all month long.
For Hunger Action Month, Lee Callahan of Jack FM is hosting a family-friendly evening of volunteering at Food Lifeline that will help provide food for thousands of family’s across Western Washington.
