We hosted a “Day of Service” at the Hunger Solution Center January 15 in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. 100+ volunteers from the Milliman Company, City of Redmond, Docusign, Allegis, and Nutpods, along with dozens of individuals and local community groups, are sorted and repacked thousands of pounds of fresh produce, nutritious dairy, proteins, and pantry staples to help supply the more than 400 food bank, shelter, and community meal program locations Food Lifeline serves across Western Washington.

“Why should there be hunger and deprivation in any land, in any city, when man has the resources and scientific know-how to provide all mankind with the basic necessities of life? There is no deficit in human resources, the deficit is in human will.”
-Martin Luther King, Jr.
