“My name is Marina, and I’m a single mother to four boys, ages 2 to 13.
“Because of their young ages, I’m only able to work part-time. And the small amount I receive for child support doesn’t make ends meet. That’s why I come to the Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank in North Bend once a week.
“Before, I used to worry a lot. But with the food bank it feels like I have backup. I’m especially grateful during the holidays. The food bank provides all the food to have a holiday meal with my children. And they also have a special program to give toys to each of the kids.
“Without the food bank and generous people like you, I don’t know what we would do. Thanks to you, my kids don’t go to bed hungry.”
