Food Lifeline is currently recruiting for a Director of Agency Programs and Network Development to join our team! This position directs the activities of the Agency and Network Development teams to develop and collaborate with an exceptional network of engaged agencies that provide quality access to food across Western Washington.
The Director of Agency Programs and Network Development collaborates with the Chief Programs Officer on developing the strategic direction for the department as well as establishing and implementing the annual work plan and budget for the department. The Director of AP & ND oversees all department functions to ensure progress towards goals and objectives, service and program improvement, proper allocation of resources, compliance with standards and regulations, and alignment with Food Lifeline strategic plans. This position will develop impact assessment strategies to identify service gaps and opportunities to provide assistance to agencies within the Food Lifeline service area; develops and implements programs that address network needs and build and oversee opportunities to partner agency network for local food donors.
Candidates for this position will have knowledge of food bank operations and practices; Food Lifeline policies and procedures; and safe food handling procedures. Candidates will also need to be creative and strategic thinkers and have the ability to analyze information and use sound judgement in decision making.
