Stamp Out Hunger 2018

Post offices across the Puget Sound region
Saturday, May 12, 2018 - 8:00am

Stamp Out Hunger is celebrating 26 years! This is the country's largest single-day food drive and it is once again taking place here in Western Washington. Created by the National Association of Letter Carriers in response to the need they saw every day on their routes.

Known for its distinctive blue plastic bags, Stamp Out Hunger takes place on May 12, 2018. Food from this drive helps Food Lifeline fill the shelves of local food banks, shelters, and meal programs across Western Washington. While one bag of food may seem small, a little goes a long way and Stamp Out Hunger succeeds every year thanks to the donations of generous neighbors like you.

Take Action

Every dollar donated provides the equivalent of
4 meals to our hungry neighbors.

Stamp Out Hunger

Stamp Out Hunger is a great Saturday volunteer opportunity for clubs or corporate teams - ages 16+! We'll send you and your volunteer compatriots to a local post office where you can help load donated bags of food for our drivers to bring back to the Hunger Solution Center. A six hour commitment is desired with some standing and lifting. Contact our volunteer team here for more details or to sign up!
