Food Lifeline’s Virtual Town Hall, July 29

July 29, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Join Congressman Derek Kilmer, State Representatives April Berg & Tana Senn, State Senator Rebecca Saldana, and advocates from the Balance Our Tax Code Coalition and Statewide Poverty Action Network to discuss how policymakers are innovating to root out hunger in communities that have been disproportionately impacted by food insecurity in the pandemic: military families, students, seniors, and people of color – and what you can do to help.

Through the conversation, we’ll deep dive into upstream causes of hunger revolving around poverty, racial inequity, and structural injustice, and talk through how we can collaborate to make a difference for the communities most impacted moving forward.
