When you join Food Frenzy, you Power Potential!

We know good nutrition leads to improved academic outcomes which is why Food Lifeline champions legislation aimed at improving and expanding free school meals for students, supporting more than 500,000 students annually!

This is why we’re committed to supporting kids and families during the summer months when free school meals are no longer readily available.  Nationwide, only about 30% of students who receive free and reduced meals at school have access to a summer meal program.  Thanks to programs like SUN Bucks, we’re connecting kids and families to additional food assistance during the summer, but we still have a long way to go.

With the high cost of living in our state, impacting everything from housing to medical care, to childcare, and groceries, it’s getting harder for low- and middle-income families to make ends meet.  So much so, last year, our agency network reported a 45% increase in food bank visits by children.

This is where you come in!  When you join Food Frenzy, a team-building, peer-to-peer summer fundraising campaign, you keep kids nourished all summer long.

Your support will help to stock the shelves of 461 food banks, shelters, and meal programs, increasing access to the nutritious, culturally relevant foods kids and families need this summer to Power their Potential.
