Recipe: Peanut Butter & Jelly Quick Energy Balls
For an easy, portable no‑bake snack perfect for busy summer days, stir up these nutty energy balls. Start with this basic recipe and then add your favorite mix‑ins. They’re delicious enjoyed at room temperature or frozen.
Basic ingredients:
- 2 cups quick oats
- ½ cup peanut butter (or substitute any nut butter)
- 6 tablespoons fruit jelly or jam 3 tablespoons honey (or to taste)
Instructions:
Place the oats in a large mixing bowl, and stir in the peanut butter and jelly to evenly coat the oats. Drizzle in the honey to taste, and mix to combine. Use a tablespoon to scoop out a portion and using your hands, roll it into a one‑inch ball.
Optional flavor additions to add with the peanut butter & jelly:
