New Food Lifeline Staffers!
We have three new staff members to introduce to the network: Paul Saelee, Marley Manjarrez, and Laura Lubash.
Paul Saelee is the new Agency Relations Representative working with the south counties of our service area. Prior to coming to Food Lifeline, Paul worked with United Way of King County where he taught Nutrition Education, helped to establish Breakfast After the Bell in elementary schools across King County, and coordinated after-school food clubs. He also coordinated family market nights at schools for students, families, and their surrounding community.
Marley Manjarrez is working with the north counties of our service area in her role as Agency Relations Representative. Before joining our team, Marley managed strategic partnerships at a global health medical device company and worked for a small Washington farm at Seattle area farmers markets. In her work, she collaborated with partners across the world, developed close relationships with many Washington farmers, and experienced firsthand the unique needs of the communities she served.
Laura Lubash is joining us this month as a Lead Agency Relations Representative. Laura is a former math teacher who is embarking on a new career in the non-profit sector. After spending the last year at WithinReach as an AmeriCorps volunteer, she is excited to join our work supporting the emergency food system. Laura will be coordinating our team’s work around monitoring and compliance, and agency allocations.
You can expect to see Paul, Marley, and Laura over the next few months as they visit agency partners and attend coalition meetings. Please take the time to introduce yourself and tell them about the fantastic work you do!
