Join the Community Justice Alliance (CJA)
Applications are now open for the next cohort of the Community Justice Alliance (CJA)!
We’re looking for community members who are directly impacted by hunger, poverty, or broader social justice issues to join this powerful leadership development space. CJA is not just a program people participate in, it’s something they help build. This is a space where people can shape the vision, define priorities, co-create group agreements, and design the path forward. All while making meaningful policy change and growing their individual leadership skills.
There’s no “right” background for this. All skill levels and leadership experiences are welcome. Whether someone is brand new to advocacy and organizing or already active in their community, what matters most is that they’ve been impacted and want to be part of change.
What participants can expect:
- 1–2 in person, or virtual/hybrid meetings per month
- Leadership development and political education
- Opportunities to speak out, share stories, and shape policy
- Small Stipends provided to reduce barriers to participation
- Support to attend Lobby Day in Olympia 1-2 times
- 1 year commitment (potentially longer, tbd)
