Food Lifeline Convenes Press Conference on New Statewide Food Security Strategy
On January 23, Food Lifeline convened a press conference at the Washington State Capitol, joining forces with State Representatives Kristine Reeves, Darya Farivar, and Beth Doglio, along with UFCW Board Member Dan Howse. Together, they outlined a shared vision for creating a Statewide Food Security Strategy (HB 2238).
Led by Food Lifeline President & CEO Stephen Davis, the conversation highlighted the current landscape of food insecurity across Washington and how the bill would support the goal of ensuring every Washingtonian has consistent access to nutritious food.
