Food Frenzy: Turn Up the Heat on Summer Hunger!
Summer is coming up, and so is Food Frenzy! Food Frenzy is a creative competition that takes place for two weeks at the end of July. It is a whirlwind two weeks where companies fundraise, food-raise, and volunteer to earn points. You compete against other companies in your industry for the opportunity to win first, second, or third place and have your name published in the Puget Sound Business Journal and recognized as a winner!
This competition is excellent for building employee engagement, boosting morale, and having a fantastic time! Companies plan fun events like kickoff parties, silent auctions, or virtual online competitions to earn points. The world is your oyster!
Food Lifeline mobilizes around childhood hunger during the summer. Kids are out of school and cannot access breakfast and lunch. We know families’ budgets can increase by $400 a month during the summer, stretching already thin budgets even thinner. Your support of Food Lifeline by participating in Food Frenzy allows us to start closing the hunger gap during the summer.
