Boeing Donates $100,000 to Help Support Families this Holiday Season
As the holiday season unfolds, we want to express our gratitude to Boeing for their incredible support in our mission to end hunger. Because of the increased need in our communities, with agency visits rising 20% this year, the Boeing Charitable Trust has made a generous gift of $100,000 to the Together to End Hunger campaign to support families this holiday season.
Boeing is a longtime supporter of Food Lifeline. Every spring, Boeing runs a Food and Essentials drive where employees donate funds and time in the warehouse, with the company matching their contributions and providing volunteer grants.
Boeing employees are active volunteers in the warehouse throughout the year. In November, five teams from Boeing collectively volunteered 216 hours to help us pack and sort meals. Their hands-on involvement exemplifies the spirit of community that drives our work.
We believe that ending hunger is a collective effort, and supporters like Boeing help us make progress towards this goal. We are grateful for their partnership to ensure everyone enjoys the abundance of the holiday season.
