A Winning Tradition: Sound Community Bank Tops Food Frenzy 2026 While Making a Lasting Community Impact

In their 17th year of the competition, Sound Community Bank continues its domination of our Banking and Finance sector!  Earning 131,357 Food Frenzy points in this year’s competition, they bring home bragging rights for both 1st Place Overall and 1st Place Per Capita in their sector this year.

For Food Lifeline, this doesn’t come as a surprise given Sound Community Bank’s commitment to uplifting our communities.

“Community is our middle name, and we believe that we can best serve our customers when we serve everyone in the community.”

– CEO Laurie Stewart,

Not only does Sound Community Bank fundraise during the competition, their employees get out into the community and donate their time, as well as encourage shoppers at a local QFC last year to support our neighbors with donations of diapers and baby formula to support families during the government shutdown.

Sound Community Bank also reaches out to their clients to enlist their support of the event each year.  This year, the Myers Group donated more than 1,300 pounds of food on behalf of Sound Community Bank, including cereal, oatmeal and mac n cheese, helping to stock the shelves of local food banks across western Washington.

“I love that you know we give back to the community and we’re always looking out and trying to help and do what’s best for the people around us and in our community. – AVP Myriah Conyers

Congratulations to Sound Community Bank on your Food Frenzy 2026 win, but let’s be honest, Food Lifeline and the 315 agency partners we serve are the real winners, with Sound Community Bank’s ongoing support of our work through donations of food, funds, and time, together we’re expanding access to nourishing foods and Powering Potential.

Thank you Sound Community Bank and we look forward to seeing what fun and whacky events you bring to the competition next year.
