Mike Wittman has been involved in food production his whole life, either directly on the farm, or by lending to the many facets of food and fiber production in the Northwest. He joined Food Lifeline’s board of directors in 2012 and served as Board Chair from 2014 to 2017.
Mike was raised on a diversified farm and ranch operation near Lapwai, Idaho. Following graduation from the University of Idaho with degrees in Agricultural Economics and a Masters in Business Administration, Mike began his career the Farm Credit System in Spokane. Mike currently leads a team focused on providing financial services to the commercial fishing and processing industries. While he looks forward to his retirement from Northwest Farm Credit Services in early 2017, Mike plans to remain very involved in the fundraising and governance activities of Food Lifeline.
