Adam LeMieux is the Deputy District Director for Congressman Rick Larsen. Adam is responsible for community outreach in Snohomish County as well as a federal legislative portfolio that includes U.S. trade policy, manufacturing, energy, agriculture, fish and environment. Prior to joining Congressman Larsen’s office in 2007, Adam worked as a Federal Policy Specialist for Puget Sound Energy. He has BAs in International Relations and Middle Eastern Studies, and Religious Studies from Central Washington University.
In addition to a professional interest in hunger issues, Adam has a personal interest expanding access to nutritional meals and ingredients in our communities. Like many young families, Adam’s parents, both starting teachers, worked hard to provide healthy and regular homemade meals on a very tight budget in a rural community. “I was too young to notice, but I’ve heard stories from family friends about tomatoes cut so thin you could see clearly through the meat of the fruit.”
Adam and his wife Summer live in Edmonds where the couple blindly believes that every home improvement project is a do-it-yourself project.
