Join us this summer for Food Frenzy!

Food Frenzy is a company-run fundraising competition that brings together over 70 companies from the greater Seattle area to help feed kids facing hunger when schools close for the summer. It’s one of our largest and longest running fundraisers. For two action-packed weeks, July 12-26, businesses host food drives, volunteer at the Hunger Solution Center, and host fundraisers that benefit Food Lifeline. Each company earns points by fundraising, food-raising, volunteering, & using social media.

We know that summer hunger impacts children and families significantly, as children lose access to free and reduced meals provided at school. This pushes already stretched budgets to the breaking point and families miss out on essential nutrition.

Last year, 67 Food Frenzy teams raised over $620,304 to mitigate the impact of hunger during these challenging summer months. They also contributed 2,753 volunteer hours and collected 7,144 food items.

JPC Architects, LLC Food Frenzy Fundraising Event

JPC Architects, LLC, a commercial architectural and design firm headquartered in Bellevue, WA, has been participating for nearly 15 years as a way to support their community. Their approach to Food Frenzy is to maximize employee engagement as well as invite their vendors to participate. Food Frenzy usually includes a large event hosted for employees and vendors as well as a couple of smaller, intimate events for employees only. They shared a few of their tips for Food Frenzy:
