Corporate Spotlight: Zillow

Food Lifeline recognizes Zillow as our amazing corporate partner for this quarter’s Corporate Spotlight! Food Lifeline’s partnership with Zillow is multifaceted – a combination of volunteering and financial investment that creates a significant impact in our communities experiencing hunger.

Melissa Conrad, Zillow’s Social Impact Manager, says “At Zillow, our mission is to give people the power to unlock life’s next chapter and make home a reality for more people. Through our Hub Partner Program, we integrate meaningful volunteer opportunities into our in-person gatherings – called zRetreats – enabling Zillow teams to engage directly with local nonprofit partners like Food Lifeline.” Food Lifeline is lucky enough to be a Zillow Hub Partner alongside another fantastic organization in Seattle, Mary’s Place. Additionally, they have organizations they work with in San Francisco, Irvine, and New York City! We are grateful and lucky to be one of six dynamic organizations they partner with throughout the United States.

We are entering our third year of working with Zillow, and we are proud to be a place where Zillow volunteers can come to enjoy their time together while also making a difference.

Zillow’s dedication to the Food Lifeline community and our vision is exciting. They deeply understand that the intersection of challenges faced by our community is important to recognize and address in tandem with one another:

“We recognize that housing and food insecurity are deeply interconnected challenges faced by our local communities, and we’re proud to support Food Lifeline’s mission in pursuit of collectively creating more stable and thriving environments for all.”

-Melissa Conrad, Zillow’s Social Impact Manager
