Connecting Communities to Food: Explore our New and Improved Food Finder Map!
We’re excited to introduce our newly redesigned Food Finder Map, a more accessible, user-friendly tool to help people quickly find the food and resources they need. Developed in partnership with the nonprofit Vivery, the new map is more user friendly, featuring multiple languages and detailed information about services available at each food bank or meal program.
The upgraded search experience allows users to filter results based on their specific needs. Whether someone is looking for food banks that are open today, culturally relevant foods, or other household needs, the map makes it easier to find what they’re looking for.
One of the most innovative features is the ability for partner agencies to manage their own listings. Food banks can easily update program descriptions, hours of operation, and details about their services, such as whether they offer hot meal programs. They can also share important location information, such as how close they are to public transit and whether they have wheelchair access. With these tools, organizations review and update their information as their services evolve, keeping the map reliable and up to date for neighbors.

The Food Finder Map is one of our most-visited online resources, consistently ranking among the top five pages on our website. In 2025, more than 30,000 people used the map, underscoring the importance of making it as helpful and easy to navigate as possible.
In addition to connecting neighbors with food, the map provides valuable, anonymous insights into community needs. It can highlight gaps in services, such as increased searches for diapers or limited availability on certain days, helping us and our partners respond more effectively.
Ultimately, the new Food Finder Map will help our network improve equitable access, ensuring everyone can more easily find the food, programs, and services available in their community.
