$1.00 = 5 Meals for Individuals Experiencing Food Insecurity

Through your support, we’re able to get nutritious food into the communities that need it most, helping to relieve some of the financial burden and stress faced by many families this time of year as well as supporting those through the economic hardship brought on by COVID-19. The pandemic has created unprecedented demand for food at food banks, shelters, and meal programs in our region. Driven by unemployment and poverty, the need for food in our region has doubled (and in some cases tripled).

When you donate to Food Lifeline, you make the following possible:

– $25 creates 125 meals and snacks for kids when school lunches aren’t available

– $50 helps to stock food bank shelves with culturally relevant food and pantry items for immigrant and refugee families

– $100 provides dairy, meat and produce to low income families at a pop-up mobile food distribution
