Like any good financial firm, Pike Place Partners finds investments that deliver returns. That’s exactly why they’re reinvesting with Food Lifeline for the 2021 Season of Giving campaign.
Last year, Pike Place Partners made a giving decision that provided thousands of meals for those experiencing hunger.
During the holidays, the team at Pike Place Partners selects gifts to send to its more than 350 clients. Usually, it’s a gift basket or gift cards. While it’s a nice gesture and appreciated by customers, Pike Place Partners wanted to do something that had more impact.
So instead of fruits and chocolates, the team decided to make a large cash donation to Food Lifeline. In honor of its clients, Pike Place Partners donated $20,000. Those funds created the equivalent of 100,000 meals for the nearly 1.4 million people currently experiencing food insecurity in Western Washington.
This year, they’re giving Food lifeline another $20,000 gift!
“It’s wonderful to see Pike Place Partners joining us again this year”, says Food Lifeline President and CEO, Linda Nageotte. “The need is still so great. This gift will help keep people from making hard choices during tough times. It will help people and families that might otherwise have to choose between paying rent or utilities and keeping groceries in the refrigerator. Thank you Pike Place Partners, and all of your clients!”
Thank you to Pike Place Partners for joining Food Lifeline in the effort to end hunger in Western Washington!
