Corporate Donor of the Month: Milliman

By February 10, 2020September 20th, 2021No Comments

We are thrilled to recognize Milliman and its employees for their significant support and dedicated volunteerism to help end hunger in Western Washington. This month we are recognizing Milliman as our Corporate Donor of the Month!

Milliman is committed to being a strong corporate citizen by financially supporting organizations like Food Lifeline. Last year, Milliman contributed $10,000 to make the necessary improvements to our volunteer space. These improvements will help us highlight and honor more than 18,000 volunteers that sort and repack nutritious food with Food Lifeline annually.

Additionally, Milliman executives and employees joined Food Lifeline staff and other volunteers for our Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service. They provided a helping hand by sorting and repacking over 30,000 lbs. of food at our Hunger Solution Center in South Park. We depend on this type of critical support from our volunteers who make an immediate impact on our movement to end hunger in our region.

“Our day at the Hunger Solution Center was a great opportunity to spend time with friends and family and give back to the community in support of a great cause. Being able to volunteer on MLK Day made that experience that much more meaningful.” Ed Jhu, Principal & Consulting Actuary, Milliman

Milliman is a key partner in the movement to end hunger. We’re grateful for all that you do including making donations, encouraging and facilitating volunteerism, and building awareness around food insecurity. Thank you, Milliman, for your generous commitment to Food Lifeline!
