Food Lifeline is now bringing twice as much food to the Foothills region of East Whatcom County. On October 26, 115 households took home groceries from Food Lifeline’s inaugural weekday mobile food pantry distribution. Clients chose from a variety of items like fresh carrots and pears, ground lamb and chicken breasts, eggs, yogurt, cereal, and chicken noodle soup.
Food Lifeline launched seven new Kids Cafe afterschool meal sites in early 2017 in partnership with The Seattle Public Library, King County Library System, and United Way of King County. Kids and teens ages 1-18 can now enjoy a free, nutritious meal after school at seven public libraries in Seattle and King County.

Community Action of Skagit County, Helping Hands Food Bank in Sedro-Woolley, and Volunteers of America's Food Distribution Center in Everett are partnering with Taylor Driving School to pick up food donations.
Is there a truck driving school in your area that might be open to partnering with you?
