Join Food Lifeline and your fellow federal, state, and local legislative assistant & district staff colleagues for a special volunteer session at our Hunger Solution Center! At the session, you’ll sort bulk donations and repack sourced grocery items into family size portions so we can distribute them to local food banks, shelters, and meal programs! After the session, stay for snacks and drinks and socialize with your counterparts. Tours of Food Lifeline's Hunger Solution Center warehouse and the South Seattle Community Food Hub will also be included.
This event is dedicated to legislative staff for Washington's congressional, state legislative, and municipal elected officials.
Action Takers are Food Lifeline volunteers and supporters who agree to higher levels of advocacy action-taking. This means messaging lawmakers with each alert and agreeing to more communications from the advocacy team.
