Our projects change from week to week, but we always find something great and rewarding for your group to work on, be it labeling packaged products, inspecting and sorting food donations, or repackaging bulk donated products. We can’t do all of this without you.

Looking for a day out of the office? A team building event? Consider organizing a group of your colleagues to serve at Food Lifeline. Whether it’s a Day of Service or an afternoon out of the office – we welcome corporate groups to share their day with us. Group size ranges from 8-60 depending on schedule availability. Have a larger group or a special event idea? Contact us and we’ll do what we can to make it happen!
If you would like to include families with children to your corporate event, please see our Volunteering with Children Guidelines for additional details.

A field trip to Food Lifeline is a great way to teach students about hunger in our community. Whether your group spends a few hours with us repacking food or simply stops by for a tour, all of your students will go away with knowledge about hunger and how they can help.
VOLUNTEERING – Maximum and minimum group sizes are determined by the day and time of your session. See our Volunteering with Children Guidelines for additional details. Minimum volunteer age is 6.
TOURS - Maximum and minimum tour sizes are determined on a case by case basis. Minimum tour age is 5.

We welcome service groups, youth groups, scouts, faith-based organizations, large groups of friends and family and more. Whether you volunteer as part of a college alumni reunion, a church youth group or as a birthday party – everyone can celebrate the 1000’s of pounds of food you’ll process during your session. If your volunteer group includes children, please see our Volunteering with Children Guidelines below for additional details.
Hundreds of children volunteer with Food Lifeline each year to help those in need. Our volunteer sessions are fun, rewarding and empowering for all children ages 6 and older. We have these guidelines in place to keep them safe and insure that the projects they work on are successful.
